An elegant, square scarf made from handspun silk on traditional Nepalese handlooms. The scarf is detailed with a single fold, an aiayu logo, and a beautiful checked pattern with a delicate contrast edge.

All packages are shipped with DHL from our store in Amsterdam, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

For small packages outside the EU, we use UPS Express Shipping and for big packages, we use PostNL (carries parcels over to local shipping companies).

100% silk

Woven by hand on large traditional Nepali handlooms in a local workshop in Kathmandu. Aiayu aims to preserve and support the traditional craftsmanship in the communities of Nepal. They craft everything traditionally and finish every product by hand to minimize waste. Our handwoven items are individual works of art ‘signed’ with personal characteristics from the Nepali men and women who crafted them.

Gentle hand wash, cold, with environmentally soap. Soak in soapy water for 10-15 minutes. Rinse in cold water. Avoid wringing during the process. Dry flat.
