100% Sartuul wool, origin Nepal

Sartuul wool is a rare breed of nomadic sheep from the Mongolian steppe. The wool is sourced from the “Green Gold” project, a Swiss development program that organizes cooperatives of nomadic herders in the Mongolian steppe. The project helps herders preserve their traditional way of life through artisanal fiber production of heritage Mongolian breeds – like Sartuul and yak.

Aiayu recommends gentle hand wash at 30 degrees with high-quality wool soap, lowest cycle.
Wool is a self-cleaning fiber that requires less frequent washing. Simply air out your garment for a fresh feel.
